Strategic Plan

Our Priorities Ahead

Build Capacity:
Increase Project Life’s visibility throughout northern Arizona with comprehensive outreach, marketing, special events, and communications strategies and materials that present our educational program priorities and achievements, as well as offer opportunities to become involved as a volunteer and/or donor.
Build Income:
Broaden Camp Colton's geographic and demographic reach in Arizona by increasing the diverse and engaging environmental education programs Project LIFE offers, facility rentals and by making the best use of communications technology, the Flagstaff Unified School District network and our partnerships with schools and organizations.
Build Infrastructure:
Grow Friends of Camp Colton’s resources and improve its operational efficiency by updating office technology, database and web site support, expanding our program capacity through capital projects and enhancing management and board processes to support volunteers and staff.
Build Funding:
Expand and diversify financial support through an array of fundraising strategies with annual appeals, corporate & foundation grants, major gift, planned giving and endowment programs, improving program sustainability, while maintaining responsible spending and prudent financial management and reporting practices.
We need people like you. People who care about Project LIFE. People to become Friends of Camp Colton. We invite you to join us!
