Friends of Camp Colton [Flagstaff Arizona]

The Friends of Camp Colton (FCC), a non-profit, 501(c) 3 fundraising organization, was established in 2001 to support Camp Colton's environmental programs and educational initiatives. Camp Colton was founded in 1971 and is Flagstaff Unified School District's experiential environmental education program for sixth grade students.

The mission of the Friends of Camp Colton is to create sustainable funding mechanisms to ensure the continued operation of Camp Colton's outdoor environmental education program.

The purpose of the Friends of Camp Colton is to:

~	Raise public awareness of Camp Colton to encourage program support.

~	Increase and diversify funding sources for Camp Colton.

~	Grow an endowment to sustain Camp Colton's educational mission in perpetuity.

~	Expand Camp Colton's educational programming to reach a greater number of children from diverse backgrounds.
